BG81: Brenda by Sam S. Taylor All the elements of a classic rural noir are present here, including solid prose. Still, Brenda just didn’t do it for me. When characters behave so illogically it breaks the suspension of disbelief…

Happiness is a mini comic in the mail. Today’s tiny treasure is from Clark Dissmeyer, a hefty mini that bundles many titles, leading off with Schlumpel Hummer #9. Of course, starring Mushy!

Chris Cilla’s Drawstring Tied in a Bow is a 16-page, full-size, limited edition indie comic from Sardine Can Press. Uh, I have number 88/100 so it may be sold out, but if it went that fast maybe it’ll see a second printing. That said, there are many other comics and zines on offer from that Can.

Here’s the last of Bob’s latest trilogy of titles:

Low Budget Funnies #12. Not many mini comics reached these heights. Locating a full set could take some serious hunting and cash, but thankfully you can grab onto this edition for a mere $2. Contact Bob Vojtko via messenger on FB.
