This is advance warning to every state’s AG. These fringe “conservatives” (radicals) are coming for ballots in every state. The Stop The Steal movement was a pre-cursor to actually stealing elections. Read the whole piece then consider how we fortify polling locations. calmatters.org/investigatio...

It would be great if Democratic leadership would make that statement too. Then it becomes “news” and the stenographers have to “report” it.
Every major news organization should be producing and promoting something along the lines of "Erratic and volatile president threatens to restart his war of aggression against Iran and order massive assault on civilian infrastructure, a possible war crime. Who will tell him no?"
I am not the first to mention this but a pocket square is supposed to be mostly hidden in your pocket, why would u have a First amendment pocket square
Sen. Jack Reed to Warsh as he dodges questions about divesting his assets: "Excuse me. I must commend you on the way you can circularly go around questions and not answer them. It's a skill. Unfortunately it's not a good skill for the chairman of the Fed."
lol! @maddow.bsky.social likens Washington reporters trying to discern meaning from what Trump says about the war to “if you were like reporting really intently on when your dog barks what words it sounded like.”

The SPLC has long monitored and exposed white nationalist and Christian nationalist hate groups, so it makes sense that an administration staffed by many people sympathetic to one or both of those movements would use the DOJ to go after them.
President urges Iran to start peace negotiations by releasing non-existent, AI-generated women some rando posted about on X
I am so sick of the @nytimes.com sanewashing Trump’s lunatic threats of massive war crimes and the destruction of Iran’s civilization as “warning them of more violence” or the “threat of attack.” The other “style” difference is that Trump is completely unreliable. www.nytimes.com/2026/04/20/u...
WaPo takes note of Trump’s “oscillating claims” about the war, but avoids the obvious conclusions — that Trump is deranged, that he is unfit, and that he shouldn’t be in charge. This is an example of the normalization of the dangerously abnormal. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...
Trolling, deceptive NYT headline for a column about how “The damage President Trump has inflicted on the United States and the world is so enormous and wide-ranging that it is hard to grasp.” www.nytimes.com/2026/04/21/o...
Like I said here, “Even if the political climate is not ripe for Trump to be stopped in some way, the urgency is still there.” presswatchers.org/2026/04/acknowledging-tr...
I just got fed the CBS Evening News feed on Twitter, and here are four of the stories they’re featuring tonight.
(In case you were wondering why their ratings are tanking amid a historic news cycle.)

Pakistan wooed Trump by signing a deal with a firm connected to his family’s crypto company. So much corruption. www.washingtonpost.com/world/2026/0...
Seeming silence from Congresspeople on this issue after some initial promise is disappointing and encourages compliance with illegal orders/discourages non-compliance as th case(s) may be.
Servicemembers need to know there will be consequences for warcrimes & that dissent will be protected/rewarded

depends on where we're talking, but JAGs, service & JS lawyers are supposed to be available for this kind of advice. but also remember that some orders don't give enough time to seek advice, so training in law of war is absolutely essential.
Center on Conscience and War runs a GI hotline.

I would like to see some reporting on how and under what circumstances a member of the military can and should refuse an illegal order. Is anyone prepared to advise them, or support them?
The task of de-Trumpification of science and public health will take a generation and a "Marshall Plan" to rebuild. Without a bold, expansive vision to guide us, there is no coming back. Small-bore, poll-tested versions of the future will not help us. www.thenation.com/article/soci...
