Her ult is just the Synth Duel from Regular Show:
Barcarola skin where instead of the Crackling Box she has a MiniMoog.
Sorry for not finishing with the blogging. Bad mental health day for understandable reasons. Anyways, I'm going to try to be more active on here, because I really just... want to be a person who isn't constantly tasing themselves online, or something. Life's hard enough as it is.
In response, Zeno and the Gryphon Legion plan a breakthrough attack- one that Zeno is uncomfortable with, as it leaves them exposed to Igor's forces should he betray them again. But at this point, they have no other option.
Krutov has sent Charon's broken body as a declaration of war. Insofar as concepts of "life" and "death" can apply to spirits, he is dying. Merel weeps in shame for her cowardice, at leaving Charon behind.
Meanwhile, the people riot, as Krutov's initial attack came with one demand- hand over Igor.
When Vertin comes to, Bereggrad is burning- Krutov's reckless attack has plunged the city into an inferno of war. Team Timekeeper is forced into a fighting retreat as tides of soldiers and Manus abominations pour into the streets, slaughtering indiscriminately...
Beyond the door, Vertin sees Urd, subjected to a "Vessel ensoulment experiment"- an attempt to use advanced arcane science to undo the effects of Reversal. It worked- for a brief instant, the "original" Urd awakened and communicated through time with Vertin, leaving a message we haven't heard...
The truth of the Amber Room he reveals to Vertin as a last favor to Urd- to Vertin's mother. Vertin touches the hidden door to the Amber Room...
When Igor uncovered the Amber Room project's true nature, this is what broke his will. In his eyes, whatever the Foundation's goals, their means were unjustifiable- and with Arcana's power seeming to extend beyond death and into the realm of gods, he felt victory was impossible.
Whatever they did in the Amber Room, those affected by it emerged not themselves, somehow. Igor followed orders- until they brought in "Urd". Igor knew her from before the first Storm- when Zeno faced Manus Vindictae in Kazakhstan, the first time they created a "Flood" that became a "Storm".
The Amber Room is the result of a Foundation-Zeno joint research project initiated after the second Storm- one that Igor personally supervised.
Its purpose was to study the "Storm anomalies"- the doppelgangers and other anomalous people created by the Storm's churn.
The Amber Room is buried beneath the church- its location changing in each eara, but in every one hidden in the bowels of the soil.
Beneath Bereggrad, a Soviet-era subway system lurks- the result of the Amber Room's proximity creating a stability point during Storms.
As the joint Zeno-Gryphon forces move through Bereggrad's streets, Ivan and Igor lay out their plan of attack- the Flying Witches will attack the ritual site to end the Golden Famine while the body of the forces engage Krutov on the ground. Meanwhile, Vertin meets Igor at an abandoned church...
Back at the Manus camp, Krutov makes his own plan to march on Bereggrad- his immense ambition and lust for immortality drive him to ever-greater acts of hubris. Against the instruction of his Manus handlers, he binds Charon and launches his own plan...
The "Golden Famine" is the Manus's ultimate weapon- a cursed ritual that they hope to eventually unleash on all of Europe, starving out all who dare oppose them. The power of the Manus- with their resurrected "god" at their back- has clearly grown exponentially.
Ivan, furious, tackles his subordinate and prepares to kill him- but Igor begs for clemency, believing the army's unity is above even his own life. Ivan tells him that this is *his* army- but in his arguing, the assassin manages to escape into the night.
Igor, ever the man with the answers, it seems, reveals the Golden Famine is a ritual byproduct- one powerful and wide-scale enough to warp all of nature around it.
A runner storms up to Ivan with a putative message- but then draws and fires on Igor in an attempted honor killing.
An accord has been reached- but with insurances. Igor's powerful Arcane Skill has been stifled through a counter-warding on his arms. Ivan and Igor are able to speak, but the wound of Igor's betrayal has cut deep.
He states he must atone, but he first must stop Krutov's madness- but Krutov's forces have grown beyond his own, bolstered by other warlords and the backing of Manus Vindictae. Thus, he seeks aid from the Zeno cavalry- not returning to the fold, but acting as allies.
Igor claims he knows the secret of the Amber Room, of Urd, and of "the most dangerous path" the Foundation is walking. He offers to aid Vertin directly in uncovering the truth.
Meanwhile, to Ivan, Igor explains Krutov's betrayal and takes simple, blunt responsibility for it- and for his betrayal.
Igor struck a deal with Arcana to help her acquire "Urd" and assist in her rebirth in exchange for a "true shelter" from the Storm- a black box carved from the same "gate of a dead god" as the reality-bending Tear of Comala. Something about Urd and the Amber Room broke his trust in the Foundation.
In Antarctica, during the near-apocalyptic "Flood" that preceded Arcana's revival, Vertin saved Moldir- another one of Igor's trusted subordinates who he treats like a daughter. Igor seems to be here to make his case regarding his actions- starting with his betrayal in Sao Paolo.
In the middle of the field outside Bereggrad, Vertin, Lilya, Ivan, and Ivan's guard meet with Igor, who comes alone to the negotiating table. With both parties in firing range of both armies, no trickery will surely happen- in theory.
Igor starts by showing Vertin courtesy for "helping" him.
Igor's forces aren't occupying Bereggrad, and they don't fire on the Flying Witches as they buzz their position. Igor is making a show of force. A messenger (Ptolemy, one of Igor's most trusted lieutenants) delivers the terms- he wishes to negotiate with Ivan... and the Timekeeper.
As the scouting element crests the top of the hill on the road to Bereggrad, they see an army has *already* made camp outside the city. Igor's Gryphon Legion obstructs the way to the city, their intent unknown.
On the road, Merel and Marsha swap tales of their harsh training in the School for the Primary Defense of Mankind and the Teutonic Order, respectively. Marsha endured her abuses and became stronger for it- for Merel, it seemed mostly to just break her resolve.
Ivan has had the ringleaders punished- and ordered the immediate decampment of the Corps for Bereggrad. The risk of a night march is high, but Ivan would rather risk that than his men ravaging the village in a rage. Morale is at an all-time low.
It seems the fight is over human and arcanist lines- with arcanist villagers defecting to join the bandits, the human soldiers are growing paranoid, and after drinking heavily have decided to carry out a pogrom against the village arcanists as a "pre-emptive strike". Marsha is holding off the men.
Ivan and Vertin wax philosophical on the nature of "home" and belonging, and whether it is truly fair to pass himself off as a different son to a different mother. They are disrupted by Sergey, who rushes to Ivan to advise him a fight's broken out in the Zeno camp.
