Canada holds the G7 Presidency.

These proposals are to be discussed by foreign ministers later this week - on Canadian soil.

There is no reason we should be welcoming collaborators with the Russians on to our soil to block action on Russia’s shadow oil tanker fleet or to water down sanctions.

Printed quote from Alice Person, cedar sawmill worker reads It opened the door to women. Why should we go back and do housework?

The 1940 - 1945 wartime economy in B.C. brought thousands of women into the workforce and unions. Alice Person was one of the first women hired to work at Hammond Cedar in Maple Ridge in 1942. After the war, many wartime industries shut, but women kept a foothold in sawmills. buff.ly/wS0MU0q

I have the adrenaline rush you only get as a parent who woke up at 5:30am to register their kids in summer programs, and succeeded! BOTH KIDS AT THE SAME LOCATION!!!

I've been thinking a lot about that bumper sticker which says "everything looks like a conspiracy theory when you don't understand how anything works" and folks it's pretty obvious to me that the people in power right now have absolutely no desire to understand how anything works.

I remember turning my nose up at Idiocracy because it was too ridiculous. Then I recently found myself describing President Camacho and his flamethrower to my twelve-year old, who was looking at a meme of Musk with his chainsaw.

Danielle Smith’s policy of appeasement and MAGA flattery is not a real strategy.

There are still folks in the Cnd oil sector who think we should either suck up or do nothing. I don’t know how much more evidence they need that this is profoundly stupid.

I sincerely doubt they will ever learn.
