the meat from dinner isn’t burnt but something smoked so bad that the dog had a panic attack and hid in the corner shaking and we had to almost carry her outside. Cats unaffected. Windows all open and fans going but what the hell. I don’t know if there was something on the burner or what.

The stat about "fewer requests for pain meds" for people who have midwives seems so sus to me. Like. That is probably the population predisposed to not want to use pain meds for one reason or another anyway (preference, not being medically complex) and that's part of why they're with a midwife!

Not where cats go!!!! I am worried she’s going to break some part of the furnace or get trapped in the open wall so we put a fence up and hopefully it will deter her. She mostly seems motivated by the wall so boarding it off is also in the plan.

I also know they’re (probably???) not going to judge me or think I’m wasting their time since it’s better be prepared in case my actual plan doesn’t happen but I’m also afraid they’re gonna be like “what are you doing here, dummy, you can’t get an epidural at the birth centre.”

MFM called to book me with anaesthesiology for a consult (because I have scoliosis and cerebral palsy) and I know it’s just in case and it doesn’t mean anything about the plan and it’s fine but also *internal screaming*

Is anybody who uses tidal able to get it to work offline? It regularly makes me go over my data limit and when I try their offline mode it only ever has 6 songs dowloaded despite me double checking storage and literally watching the download progression. This is turning into a deal breaker.
