I’m just saying what it sounds like to non-Christians when bad actors who are Christians are routinely disavowed by other Christians as being non-Christians. Especially when the bad actions are being done explicitly due to their Christian faith. I’m asking you, someone I respect, not to do that.
Go ahead and claim they are bad Christians or wrong Christians but please don’t claim they aren’t Christians. That is perpetuating the harmful assertion that Christian = good and disavows responsibility for the harms done to non-Christians by Christian societies. Thanks.
