I’m convinced this dude is one of the best TV directors, if not directors, of all time. He directed A LOT of HIGHLANDER. But I’m scared to look up his IMDB. I hope he had a long and fruitful career. But I would hate to see he didn’t. Anyway, what a talent.

So lately, after some edibles, I have taken to watching HIGHLANDER THE SERIES. It’s very 90s but watching it high is bliss. I’ve started noticing directors. If there’s a cool shot with no cuts or cool framing before the credits, I wonder if this is a Dennis Berry jam. And last night, it was.

I can hardly recommend getting up every Saturday morning and watching a movie. It's the closest thing you'll get to the rush of watching Saturday morning cartoons as a kid. Instead of being jacked up on sugar cereal, you're jacked up on coffee. It's bliss. You deserve it.

If Danhausen from the WWE was around when I was a kid, that would have been my whole identity. I wonder if kids are still little weirdos today?

Over the weekend I got CSN&Y’s 4 Way Street, the 1984 DUNE soundtrack and Counting Crow’s August and Everything After on vinyl and this is the first day this week I’ve been able to work from home. And let me tell you, it’s been glorious.

I just finished “Hercule Poirot's Christmas” last night and it was a blast. It had been a bit since since I’ve read a Christie novel and I loved it. But now I need to decide if I want to read another Christie book or finally start “Empire of Silence” as was the plan.

Yep. We grew up with constant snow on the ground in winter. I honestly think that would be nice again.

I’m intrigued. Now I need to look this one up.

Man, I thought they nailed the Stranger Things finale. By far, the best episode of season 5. Yeah maybe it had a “Return of the King” ending, but I think it needed it. And that last shot, so sad, so good. I loved it.
