I agree and for me, a lot of it comes down to editing. A film that is shot and edited in Asia is going to feel very different from a film shot and edited in say, Poland. Heck, I am a big fan of low-budget horror films, so I can never be accused of being too high-brow in my viewing pleasures.

I own it on DVD and although I have watched it more than once, my reaction is usually the same, "What? I don't really get it?" 🤔
