The estate agents sent me a "you may be interested in" email earlier and it was the house we were going to buy 😂 I was like NO THANKS I NEVER WANT TO SEE THAT HOUSE EVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE.

We have agreed a completion date for the sale of our house. It's only been SIX MONTHS. Unfortunately we have no house to move to after pulling out of the purchase we had in mind. It's going to be ok though cos people love selling the houses in summer don't they? DON'T THEY????
I have just sneezed and my back has clicked. Good morning all, someone please fetch me a wheelchair.
Are houses too expensive or is it the interest? Just looking at a house that's technically over budget. Ran the numbers and if it was on our current rate (2.84%) it's doable. Annoying. Literally can't accord the monthly payments at 5%. Sad.
I'd post it here but I know not everyone wants to see a placenta at 7am (or ever). It's all so fascinating how the human body works, I'll never not be interested in what our bodies can do
After my baby was born I asked to see the placenta cos I was just so intrigued about it. I took some photos and the midwife explained all the bits and their functions.
Later I showed my friend and she said "it looks like a dog poo in a bag" and I'll never really get over that 🤣. FFS.
Another fun hour or so at Lime St waving to trains! We got four waves from the 11:43 Avanti to Euston which was our winner today! We also got a nice treat from the Northern rail ticket inspector ❤️
I have enjoyed the new Scrubs reboot but I have one big criticism. Why is the extremely British doctor called 'Asher'? Why isn't he called George or Fred.
Is it too much to ask to be able to walk my child to school 😐 which we would be able to do if we stayed in this house. Or if we'd been able to buy our new house months ago and he was given a place in the school down the road. Lalalalala. Today will be a good day. I can make it work. WE CAN SORT IT.
Happy Primary school admissions day to all those who celebrate! Not me cos our failed house purchase has taken no less six months and we are in a local authority no mans land 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
Me too 😭
I thought it was the same post from the same person coming back up again 🤣 glad you said this.
Need a break from reality? Cup of tea and Heathrow: Britain's Busiest Airport on YouTube. Job done.
It's safe to say I've aged 6 years in 6 months 🤣
What. A. Mess.
Waaah just received an email from my son's third choice school congratulating him on securing a place in their reception class. I guess since we are still out of catchment for our first two options that means they won't take us. Feeling sad. This school is lovely too but what a shame we are moving!
It's totally the right thing to do when you say it out loud. We'd be closer to family too. It's a no brainer really but I am a worry wart 😩 a terrible "what-if"er.
11:11 BABY!
Yes! Having someone to back you up is great. The support and the belief in you really matters. Unfortunately in our house we're both very indecisive so everything takes ages. Current dilemma: sell house with no house to move into and live in my Nan's house for god knows how long 😬
Brilliant outcome 🤩 the hardest part of anything is usually making the decision that gets you there (for me anyway!).
I would love to hear about any big life changing decisions people have made and how they worked out. I am famously indecisive and hearing about other people's Big Decisions™️ would help me. Thank you.
Early morning happiness:
"Mummy, did you know there is a Toy Story 5 coming out? We have to go and see it in the cinema" ❤️
Followed by me thinking "I saw the fIrst Toy Story in the cinema when I was your age, WHAAAT" 🤣
The years keep coming and they don't stop coming...
I don't want the house anymore, it feels like a bad omen.
We sold our house before Christmas so rightfully our buyers are pissed off too. I mean the people who's house we are buying are ALSO pissed off. Everyone is pissed off but the very relaxed people at the top of the chain 💀
It looks like our house purchase is going to fall through and I am...relieved? There is no new house at the end of the tunnel BUT AT LEAST THERE'S AN END TO THE PREVIOUSLY NEVER ENDING TUNNEL
Sounds perfect! Hope you have lovely clear skies too like we do up north.
My news feed is full of reels and photos from Ladies Day at Aintree and I am appalled by the sexism written by both men and women.
If women want to show cleavage it's fine.
If women want to go sans bra it's definitely fine.
If women have tattoos, it's fine.
Don't lose sleep, haters.
Was chatting to my dad last week and we realised I am only two years younger now than he was when he retired. No way I'm retiring in two years 🤣 not even in two decades.
Cooked breakfast in bed. Eggs, toast, spinach, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, meat free sausages and spinach. And a cup of tea!
What a TREAT. Breakfast in bed? For ME? 🥰
The rain is hammering down, the wind is howling, next door's dog is going berserk YET the party house across the park is still giving it 100% effort with their karaoke machine in their garden (under a mini marquee obviously). A successful race day for some methinks.
