I would also theorise that the perceived “unjustified growth” in grades may also match the growth in people getting appropriate diagnoses for things like ADHD and dyslexia and gaining the appropriate adjustments that help them achieve in a way they wouldn’t otherwise.

Yeah as someone who it is now realised had ARFID (I nearly died cos I didn’t like milk as a newborn) the people around you learn fast to take you to the right places and you learn to just order plain rice in a sushi place or something. Or just sit and watch everyone else eat.
I mean, autistic people will sometimes have limited food tolerances (speaking as someone who experienced that) but then you just go to a place that *actually caters to that*. It’s genuinely not hard.
