Kingsley Wilson, the newly-appointed DoD Deputy Press Secretary, believes in a thoroughly-debunked antisemitic conspiracy theory. I've mostly only seen this theory promoted by mask-off neo-Nazis.

How Hitler Dismantled a Democracy in 53 Days. “In one of the most astonishing political transformations in the history of democracy, Hitler set about destroying a constitutional republic through constitutional means.” [theatlantic.com]
You know who are not confused, or uncertain, or mealy-mouthed about this? The Germans. Who might have some insight into this matter.
Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public.
He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit.
Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.

The road to fascism is lined with people telling you to stop overreacting.
Yet sometimes, it's just unambiguously and unarguably laid out black and white.
Look. It's fascism. It's trans-national, systematic, networked, fascism. They mean it.They're not joking. What are you going to do?
As a German I agree to both statements!

Woah. Google just filed redacted versions of many of its Summary Judgment exhibits in Texas v Google adtech antitrust case ahead of the March 31 trial. Although this case mirrors DOJ's case awaiting decision, it has even more eye-popping evidence. And an expert suggesting $29B in penalties. /1

For years, we’ve heard about women prisoners in Syria being raped, giving birth in prison, and their children being imprisoned with their mothers.

Watching the Apple Writing tool ads in disbelief. Is this the same sabotaging ad agency that made the iPad ad? 1. The lazy employee: Didn't read the brief, unnecessarily leaves the room and comes back lying that he read the brief, closing to a track that shouts "genius!" youtu.be/BK8bnkcT0Ng?...

Every time someone chooses cycling over driving for one kilometer society is €1,35 richer.
Through safer streets, cleaner air, lighter traffic, higher productivity, and cheaper medical and maintenance bills.
Shouldn’t governments do everything in their power to enable that choice?
It’s incredibly frustrating that there are no discernible consequences for this major federal contractor who consistently acts against the interests of the united states, on disaster relief and a whole host of other issues. www.politico.com/news/2024/10...
So, the Internet Archive has two different problems at the same time:
1. A massive data breach, which has been confirmed.
2. A DDoS/defacement by a hacktivist group that claims they're doing this for Palestine, which has some real strong "we're kicking this puppy for Palestine" energy.
Both should work. Pixel works for sure though content blockers get inbetween. There should be the option to retarget people who clicked CTA (not entirely sure) or general engages with your content.
