It’s so cool to witness young players step up or veterans who make a comeback from injury. Documenting game after game, you see their process and their growth, their determination and attention to detail.

I plan to offer a business in photography course this winter to really dive into these things. It’s not always hard, technical skills though. A lot of success is found in the intangibles, the soft skills, personnel, and the details. Similar to the game of football.

Finding different ways to win in sports is much like photography. You’re not going to always succeed the same way and if, over the years, you try and approach it the same, you’ll likely fail more often than not. Sometimes it’s purely hard work and persistence. Other times luck plays a larger role.
