YES!! HOURS of time with zero consideration. I've given so much consultancy work in the form of "tests" that it's ridiculous. I wrote a 25 page report as a test for a company back in January. They reposted the position last week. The amount of info they've gotten on how to manage strategy, ugh.

1. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

2. Yes! Exactly. It's a weird way of hiring. Two of the companies I interviewed for put the position on hold. Another realigned. At least one actually rejected me. And I'm sorry that happened to you. Strange times.

I was on like my last interview for META a week later and I don't even know what was coming out of my mouth. I was so damn twisted. "Chik-e-may-may. Swayin' in da' wind mistah chickapee! Swayin in da wind!"

I had like 24 interviews last month, over the course of three weeks, for 4 different companies. I made it all the way through every single one and companies really be nuts.

Companies will really make you do 6 rounds of interviews + a take home test of what you'd do to lead their team and then be like -- oops! SORRY! Our bad! Never mind! We didn't hire anyone. We need to realign.

This show had me tearing up in the last episode. It was great to catch up with these characters and kind of surprising me for me personally how much I remembered.

I liked Echos of Wisdom. There was a lot of problem solving and they didn't limit you in how you did it. The dungeons felt a little "easy" but that may have just been because after a while you figure out to do X you need to build Y and Z but even then you can be creative.

You made it that far? AMAZING! I quit after 2.

(Also I heart you and think you're the best dude in the world and I hope you had a great holiday!)

I've been doing this cute thing where I look at my phone for only 30 minutes a day (with a timer) and limit my internet time to 1 hour a day.

I've found that I am 25% less crazed and run ragged.

I function better as a human knowing *less.*

My most successful hero was Prism. I sent the perfect hero for the call 13 times across shifts. I barely succeeded on a call 2 times across all shifts.

Finished Dispatch. What a great game! I am going to miss them. Hopefully they will do another one …. Or an actual movie …. Or even a series! Oooo!

I have been playing, “Dispatch,” and I have the song lyric, “IMMA SHOW YOU HOW TO MAKE A POUNDCAKE!!!” stuck in my head after hearing it for like 10 seconds.

I knew it was Buffy related since Colin knew what it was, the film grain, the color grading, and the aspect ratio but I would have never remembered that scene as I am heterosexual. As always, thank you, Handsome Bigfoot Lawyer.

My therapist makes me use an app where I have to tell it how I feel three times a day.

Turns out I am some variation of exhausted 80% of the time.

Alexander Skarsgard 's robotic head in Apples Muderbot

Finally got around to watching Murderbot.

And I teared up at the end which is theoretically impossible since I haven't done that in at least 823 years.

At least it's on Apple TV+ so it won't be cancelled after 5 seconds. (And is already renewed.)

I'd say Chainsaw Man but Vinland Saga is probably what you're looking for in terms of closeness. AOT had was pretty epic you don't always see.
