Tethered puck is an annoyance, but seems worth it if it can provide great resolution & framerate as well as comfort for extended periods and a sleek form factor

Improve:
- TV style cut pace (~5sec/shot) reduces presence
- Horizon 3D avatar navigation gets in the way
- Do spatial audio instead of stereo

Cons would be large rigs and data sizes and processing times. Seems more direct to just capture stereo fisheye/wideFOV
