Can AI do it? Probably yes

Would I use it for it? No… it’s still destructive to the planet, and it’s built on work stolen from other artists, and while yes it would be nice to have it’s unnecessary in the grand scheme of things…

My entry point was a TV report (on CNN I think?) I saw one night many years ago (I think I was 14 or 15 at the time). I’ve tried to find it online but I couldn’t (must have been mid 90s). It was something about a heatwave and the ways people were dealing with it (one was going to a nudist club)

That’s another layer to it too. The tech people behind AI has been pretty open about their intention to take away our critical thinking by being reliant too much on their AI models

Like… seriously… you don’t need AI to write an email… it’s something you were perfectly capable of doing 2 years ago

I genuinely think AI is the antithesis of everything that naturism stands for as in 1. A technology that pretty much is destroying the planet and nature and 2. Predicated on altering, fabricating and obscuring what’s real

It’s a complicated question that also applies to many, many things beyond naturism. And the answer is different depending on the person, their life and their relationship with their family

1. Family doesn’t necessarily mean close relationship (especially with extended family). 2. It goes both ways. It can also be: do *I* want to upset someone I love, knowing their views, even if I disagree with it? And if I get to do what I want without them knowing, what’s the point of telling them?

Yes, with friends it’s easier to choose, and I’ve generally been open with friends about it. And friendship is a spectrum and there are friends one can be more open with than others. That’s generally for everything, not just naturism.

That’s great! I on the other hand come from a very conservative family and have lived in a conservative society most of my life. Conversations about nudity in general came up and I know their opinions. Saying I’m a naturist adds no benefit to me so what’s the point?
