I say ACAB not because I'm making some assumption, but because it is factually apparent that every day these goons wake up and continue to actively make the choice to participate in a reprehensibly amoral organization. They could put down their arms and refuse. But they don't.

Every cop, every ICE agent, they see all this shit. Ladies getting shot in the face. Children kidnapped. People dragged from their cars or homes, and beaten in the street. Families torn apart. They see this shit, and every day choose to wake up and go to work for the institution that's responsible.

Recently, while traveling outside the US, I made some ACAB comments and received a little pushback from someone I was with. "It's not good to make generalizations," he said. But let me be clear, when I say ACAB that's not a generalization, it's an observation of fact.

I can't claim to know precisely where the line is between right and wrong in any given situation, but I can tell you confidently that shooting a lady in the goddamn face for no reason falls distinctly on the "wrong" side.

For the record, this is what you do when you're given orders that cross a clear moral boundary. You quit. I'd tell all you cops and ICE boys to take note, but it seems we may fundamentally disagree about where those boundaries are.
