If anything that has happened so far shows how bad the democratic party gave the non voters the reason to no vote for them and people here not understanding it maybe re-evaluating "the lesser evil" mentality needs to be addressed. Its shows just how mediocre the party is.

ICIRR alert in which they describe ICE arrests of rideshare drivers at an Oโhare lot.
ICE is once again targeting rideshare divers at Oโhare parking lots. The Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights says that multiple people have been detained. This is at least the third incident in the last few weeks involving ICE and rideshare drivers at Oโhare.
Hopefully they learn from this the mystical ability know as "foresight" but we all know that aint gonna happen ๐ญ๐.

The last 'No Kings' protest ended in inconsequence because there was no material leverage. No economic disruption. No cost for ignoring the workers; just symbolic expression that changes and challenges nothing.
When we critique "nonviolent" liberal protest, we're not necessarily saying grab guns or whatever. We're saying: your protest needs consequences. If they ignore you, what happens? There has to be a cost. But consider this: those same 10 million people organizing mutual aid, community defence and withholding their labor would cripple the economy in hours. That's the power of organized labor; that's showing the bourgeoisie how fragile their position actually is - by threatening material consequences where it *actually* hurts: profit. Want to truly make your demands heard and met? Don't march. Strike. Let them try to run the country without workers' consent.

An ICE agent, who is being arrested for drunk driving and nearly killing his little kids & others, tries to stop the arrest by racially profiling the officers arresting him. Amazing to watch the courtesy given to him as he is belligerent and uncooperative
