*Houston. By the way, Houston has a great ballpark. Many viewing stations on different levels make it a fun park to walk around. (They were in the NL when I saw them.)

Saw the Mets in Huston years ago, and Mookie was the first base coach. In a game pause I yelled “Hey Mookie! We love you!” He turned around, with a quizzical look on his face. I still love Mookie Wilson.

A round, rusty orange planet against the blackness of space. The surface is a mix of lighter and darker orange areas, with some darker markings that look like smudges or streaks. There's a lighter, whitish patch at the top and bottom, which are the polar ice caps.

The company I keep…
He’s called “Sky” which is short for Skytag, in honor of his light blue ankle bracelet. This is his second year at the lake, that I know of.

My hope is that, in the vastness of space, another civilization might find this letter, written by Jimmy Carter and carried by the Voyager into the Cosmos.

May they see in him the best of humanity, and believe us all capable of his wisdom and foresight.

Hard to see the details of the ships and characters, but it resembles a nebula this way, with a little imagination. Happy Holidays, all!

The plaque that accompanies the unused Lunar Module, a true space vehicle that performed beautifully and that was made in Bethpage, NY.

The Apollo program was nixed by the conservative Nixon admin that had no understanding of science nor any intellectual curiosity. Thus, only one human scientist has ever been on the Moon, geologist Harrison “Jack” Schmitt, who flew on the last Apollo mission, Apollo 17.

I catalogued your book for our college library at Hobart and William Smith in Western NY. It’s great work in my opinion, and I’m very glad we added it to the collection. Cheers!
