At the risk of playing into a joke I don't get - was there something you're interested in reading?

Went to my first prerelease in a while (last was WoE) over the weekend. Met lots of cool people, and learned that the stores in my area host a pauper group and a cube group that I'll be checking out in the coming weeks.

I keep forgetting that I *can*. At this points it's very conditioned into me not to and one doesn't just turn that off.

*Looks around at all the space I don't have*
"Hey, look, those books I haven't read and games I haven't played."

I've been avoiding deep cleaning my house and, about the same.

I was asked the other day what I would do on a day I had all to myself with no responsibilities. I had a real "does not compute" moment - *no* responsibilities is a pretty tall order.

Reputable publisher, looks nice. I'm at a place where I'm reluctant to back/preorder since the KS editions tend to show up at retail anyway or will be easy to trade for after release.

Yeah, and I kept wishing for other camera angles. I could pretty clearly find the mascots on the left but on the right the cheerleaders were juuuuuuust out of frame.

There will always be exceptions, but getting a good game - fun to play, not bogged down with monetization, doesn't overstay its welcome - from the AAA space seems less and less likely given the incentive structures. But ymmv - what's your favorite recent AAA game?

One of my favorite pictures is of Red. I was standing next to him and he was making the "we're number 1!" ☝️ sign - but his hand is red fur and digital cameras at the time weren't great at fine detail, so the pic reads more like a different gesture. 🤣
