I was lucky enough to have had several bearded dragon companions over the last 15 years. They are like scaly cats in terms of mood, preference, and agency, and it is tragic how misunderstood and abused they are through the whole pipeline, breeder to keeper. Wonderfully rewarding. Not easy.
