For me, it’s teleportation. Portals. Imagine being able to travel anywhere instantly. No need for cars or planes or hotels, no more being tied down to a nation just because you were born there, no more barriers to collaboration, everything would be available.

I feel like everybody has some piece of science fiction technology that they really wish was real. I think for the tech bro billionaires it’s AI, but for some folks it’s flying cars or genetic transmutation or computer-brain interfaces or whatever
