We very proudly present AF-GTA’s latest grant recipient: Dancehall Dubs! Photographer Lesia B has “bins on bins” of original 35mm negatives documenting Toronto’s 1990s and 2000s dancehall culture and aims to preserve/digitize them! We can't wait to see!

This one's a new favourite: helping our square dance association train a new generation of callers, to keep the art form alive (and welcoming) for years to come ✨
Our first grant of 2026 grant goes to: The Canadian Old Tyme Square Dancing Association! They're a group that started here in Ontario in 1954 and has evolved to include a wide range of musical choices and non-gendered dance positioning. Nice work, y'all 👏👏
