After the card show I went to on Thursday, I got some nice pickups to add to my collection but also got some cards for @newlyn.bsky.social. Still hunting for a few more cards but I'm certainly cooling off from all the deals I got completed. Most of the deals were thanks to my extra PC ETBs

Going to switch to part time this summer so I can work on some personal projects but also take a break. Going to travel to see friends but also go to Canfurence and Megaplex. Hope to see friends there, maybe make some new friends along the way. Constantly feel shy at cons but hope to change that

Had a usual stressful day of bouncing between the 2-3 jobs but was happy to come home to @dyluck.bsky.social ready to give hugs and cuddles. Definitely miss having a roommate of sorts to do stuff like that

So I've yet to see GOAT but there are enough clips of it online and my friends sharing their takes that I know the movie at this point. It will be nice to have an art picture in the future of Jet playing basketball against Jett.

Had therapy earlier today and we spoke about my plans for the summer. Planning to have the 8-9 weeks be a time to reset myself, have fun, and really embrace what makes me happy.

Might see me get some artwork in the future, both sfw and nsfw, but I'm also going to invest in some other hobbies too

For those curious, the binder started out as loose cards in a traditional binder with top-loading pages so the cards would fly out. Better "binder behavior" as DPM would put it

Got my cards back from grading! Also got @newlyn.bsky.social final batch so I can safely send his collection home where it belongs. It's been a fun journey working on both collections at once and I hope to work on mine a bit more now that Newlyn is all set

Debating whether to start building a collection of slabs of yugioh cards I used to play with. For context, I had to sell my old pokemon and yugioh collections during covid to make ends meet but for yugioh I played for ten years (2004-2013), made it to nationals twice, and judged for ~3-4 years.

I've helped raise two of them with my family. They are lovable teddy bears once you train them. This is Ceilidh who is now 6 years old

So this right here is one of the highlights of my collection. I have the whole CD promo set. The trouble is I will never be able to afford most of the modern SIRs I’m chasing. A part of me wants to trade up or sell, but I’ve had these since 99. What to doooooo… #PokemonTCG
