Oh yes, I don't disagree at all.

Does he (and it's going to be a he) not know that in some cases it's been pressed from an original stamper so it is literally like getting an original issue only pressed a few years later?

Oh my goodness. It's a magnificent thing. First Weller tour of the US and I found it in New York. I picked it up because it was cheap & looked like it might be interesting and I am so glad I did because it's beautiful. What A Day For Me is one of my all time favourite 60s songs.

Autumn’s Really Here Now is the best Fairport Convention song they never recorded.

- It's a big if, and it doesn't alter the fact that Starmers is a bit of a twit. But it strains credibility to imagine a Reform government doing this. Mind you, it strains credibility to imagine a Reform government.

If these proposals lead to a reduction in electricity bills then this will be a clear example of something a government supposedly on the side of ordinary people should be doing. More, please, of this. Less, please, of the racism and turning blind eyes to wrong 'uns.-

They also recorded as Watkins’s Folly and The Flavours of Hercules. It’s the Morgan studios lot. You know. The ones who did that song about a gay stoat.

Typo is hilarious, but four quid for the proper original mono mix of the 7" that never gets played on the radio any more and is not that easy to find on streaming/download services isn't outrageous a price. I've seen it go for more.

From the era of the Giles cartoon set in a music shop that has a poster on the wall saying something like “Love thy neighbour? Drop their rateable value- Buy An Organ!”

A More In Common poll that overplays the hand of Reform yet again but downplays the possibility of a Plaid majority. Which isn't such a fanciful outcome. Plaid are a lesson in how to do nationalism properly. Make it inclusive, make it local, keep the focus on stuff they can do something about.

Les McKeown: ‘A cheeky little upstart’ The late Bay City Rollers singer in his own words, as recorded by ALWYN TURNER.

"We had a bit of a street image. The first pictures we were kinda like in Adidas, tight fucking jeans, braces and Fairisle shirts. There was nothing tartan about us."
Les McKeown, singer with the Bay City Rollers, died five years ago.

My prediction is 80 seats would be a bloody miracle. I honestly (and you can call it cope or naivety or whatever you like) think that they will be lucky to hang on to the ones they currently have. Especially where a Tory has defected. I predict lot of them will be “retiring” at the next election.

The amount of T-Bird you used to drink I’m not surprised at either of those revelations. To be fair though. I don’t remember you stripping off during a gig and I saw most of yours.

Gliding is what I remember most about Dunstable Downs. That followed by Whipsnade Zoo.

When I was a postman there was a magnificent but particularly obnoxious one that used to terrify the residents of a particular Bedfordshire village on my patch. It trapped me in my van once. Everyone hated it. One day it just vanished. “The vicar killed it with a shotgun” was the rumour.

A lot of those sorts of turntables assume you’re plugging it into an aux input or powered speakers so have a built in phono to line transformer

Sounds to me like the output is already at line level so that’s why it’s distorting like a mf

Straight away I’d suggest plugging it into the “line” input rather than the “phono” one.

Finland should've won. German theme, but proper New Wave energy. "Don't drop that neutron bomb on me!"

I’m confident enough to suggest that at the next election Reform will end up coming second in some of the places where they already have an MP.
