something strange and horrible and somehow fitting that we should have a very real threat of madman civilizational destruction at the very moment when we also have humans on the dark side of the moon taking pictures that show how small, precious, and beautiful our world and existence is

I love how Zack Polanski & the Greens are giving such a consistent, clear voice to issues around inequality, caring for public services & the climate.
Basically, a fairer, healthier society.
Refreshing to hear such moral clarity.

Hey, look. It's a decent scan of this legendary image!

And left foot has a kind of demon hairy eyeball thing with cat claws grabbing it. Idea is to keep to the cat theme with the right foot, but work it more towards the many nods to Ancient Egypt I have going on in other areas. So Bast, basically. Towards Gayer-Anderson cat style, most likely
Behind ear sounds nightmareish! Best I can relate was a small one I had done on my chest years before I got my main big piece there done that was using a heavy machine - really vibrated through the whole area. Very unpleasant! Main chest piece was fine though, but I guess that kind of feeling x100?

Knee definitely unpleasant but foot and sternum were worse for me. So of course my next plan is the foot that isn't inked yet (but much later in the year to give me time to psych myself up for how horrible it'll be π)
Bird of Paradise tattoo
New tattoo by the wonderful Twocabz. Inked ahead of our upcoming ten year wedding anniversary (this was our flower). Of my (many) tattoos, this is striking in that it's one of only a few in colour.

Gymshark Onyx hoodie in purple
Not usually one for long sleeves but I'm a big Gymshark fan so had to get one of the Onyx hoodies. I did want the blue/grey but these bad boys sell out quick! Not an everyday gym look for me as I prefer a less "it's like I'm wearing nothing at all" vibe when out, but it's nice and good quality. π
There's this dynamic online, where people post famous quotes to support their viewpoints, but they are often unfamiliar with the original author's work or views. The quote thus floats through the internet as some disembodied thing.
See, I don't give a damn about comparing myself with others. It does no good for anyone. But I must do as well, if not better, than an imaginary version of myself that had it easier π
I'm sure I'd still have reached this level of gains in the last three years, but the level of drive has been somewhat set by a desire to not accept my arm's limitations. That idea of "I will do everything again, and better" has super-powered me. Not letting an imagined non-injury me beat me xD

Illustration of a clearing in a dark forest with pools of water on the ground among the trees and vegetation. In the water is a reflection of a cityscape with skyscrapers in vibrant orange and yellow with a bright blue sky, contrasting with the murky blue-green colours of the woods. In the far distance an early sunrise can be made out through the trees.
In an ancient forest, shallow pools reflect not the trees above, but a luminous city of elsewhere.
My shortlisted entry for the Cheltenham Illustration awards. Inspired by the changing landscape, childhood (and adulthood) fantasy, reflections, exploration of strange places...

Image of letter sent to Prime Minister Keir Starmer by the Green MPs and Peers. Letter begins: Dear Prime Minister, We are writing as Green Party MPs and Peers to express our alarm at the UKβs involvement in the illegal US-Israeli war on Iran. Already well over 1,000 civilians have been killed, including a reported 168 children killed by a missile now widely believed to be from the United States (Guardian, 2026). UNICEF has reported that the Israeli military's assault on Lebanon is killing or injuring the equivalent of one classroom of children every day (Reuters, 2026). In addition to the grave humanitarian impacts, the longer this illegal, unnecessary war continues, the greater the global economic fallout β to which the UK is particularly exposed because it remains heavily reliant on fossil fuels. Read the rest of the letter on the Green Party website at: https://greenparty.org.uk/2026/03/20/green-mps-and-peers-demand-end-to-uk-involvement-in-illegal-us-israel-war/
Second page of letter to Prime Minister Keir Starmer from the Green MPs and Peers. Read the full letter on the Green Party website at: https://greenparty.org.uk/2026/03/20/green-mps-and-peers-demand-end-to-uk-involvement-in-illegal-us-israel-war/
The Green MPs and Peers have written to Keir Starmer to urge for an end to the UK's involvement in the US and Israel's illegal war.
Under international law, the UK is obliged to have no involvement in illegal military action, including the use of UK bases and UK-made weapons.

"Special Clearance" Events badge design for Minamicon 31: depicting a green haired fairy with blue wings wearing a purple outfit that looks a lot like Alfimi's from Super Robot Wars, with a pink mech in the background that looks a lot like Person-lichkeit.
"Special Clearance" Masquerade badge design for Minamicon 31: depicting two purple haired fairies in the foreground embracing in a pose reminiscent of key art from Kannazuki no Miko, with a fancy robot mecha in the background that looks like a mix between the ame-no-murakumo mech and tauburn from star driver.
"Special Clearance" Committee badge design for Minamicon 31: depicting a red winged fairy with an impressive moustache and reflective glasses, sitting at a table in Gendou Ikari's iconic pose. Behind him is a lunchbox shaped mech named Bread Pitt

The game industryβs obsession with graphics is so funny because every other year there will be some breakout hit called βStick Figure Mansionβ or some shit that outsells 90% of the market and runs on a toaster
Not sure about that! π
Labour is now, in practice, the most anti-migrant, anti-trans, anti most marginalised groups to be honest, government for decades. That doesn't help reduce bills or make it easier to find a job, rent, buy etc. It just further dehumanises already marginalised individuals for a political soundbite.
