As some of you fellow fantasy-art fans have pointed out, Brian Froud certainly seems influenced by Bauer's work, especially early in his career, years before he designed the Mystics for Jim Henson's "The Dark Crystal". These images come from 1978's "The Land of Froud". Great stuff!
