I agree it is a work of genius. Played Reg in college.

I disagree. Having acted in and directed Bus Stop, I found it works. Dark requires a great kid actor but can be very effective. It bananas Inge's first play attempt, Farther Off from Heaven, and then revised for his last Broadway hit. Highly autobiographical, it is his Glass Menag.
Thanks for this. I never knew until now that Steve McQueen and I share the same birthday. Great Escape and Papillon are my faves.

I was into mythology.
Delta of Venus--I found it in my mother's bookshelf.
That took me a second to get but it is funny on a genius level.
Agree with your scepticism. I think the husband in the SC production was on the short side though.
Albee said in public lecture that the actor playing teenage son was too tall. Local scuttlebutt was that he did not want the protagonist's best friend, the villain, to be played by a black man. It is his copyright .
Albee shut down a production of The Goat in Columbia SC--they didn't have a signed contract but had applied--because he demanded a change in casting.
And as Georgina in Upstairs Downstairs! My dad had the greatest crush on her.
Speak, friend, and enter (but in Elvish).
Thanks for bringing my attention to this. just ordered my signed cd.

Four panels of Glorious Godfrey preaching anti-life Godfrey is a red-headed sort of evangelist / motivational speaker prosthetizing on behalf of ultimate villain dark side first panel Godfrey says " yes friends though life is ever filled with those who threaten us, it is anti life which gives us the power to eliminate them the Holocaust is coming the day of Apocalypse on Earth the day of dark side who brings this power for only us to use yes it is his gift to his friends the cosmic hunting license the right to point the finger or the gun who can stand against us friends obviously not the others they can be recognized for what they are but not us friends not us when we wear this helmet we feel unified glorified Justified and Godfrey holds up a armored helmet with a split in the visor to see out of but which renders The wearer Faceless Godfrey concludes step up friends take your helmet be superior be fierce be justifier it's dark side's gift of anti-life it's the happiness package

It certainly did its number on me--I ended up a Fitzgerald scholar--as well as an Algonquin Roundtable junkie.
