How Should Christians Think About AI? The AI revolution and a call to respond with wisdom and love.

With all the created world around us, we proceed with wisdom. A bee can sting us and provide us honey. So much of the world is this way. It can harm us and help us. Wisdom helps us discern which approach will bring help instead of harm.

Calling Christianity a crutch for the weak gives people way too much credit.

Christianity is actually a resurrection for the dead.

The answer to liberalism without the resurrection is not conservatism without the cross.

When Apologetics Goes Viral The most popular podcast in the world, the Joe Rogan Experience, published a three-plus hour conversation with Christian scholar and apologist Wesley Huff.

The Huff-Rogan moment reminds us: Something’s happening here. “What’s that sound?” We need to stop, look, listen, and lean in. And we need to start “apologizing” like Christians, again.

Some say that Christians are politically homeless on earth. But that isn’t quite true.

We have a political home in a City (polis) yet to come, and this City assembles on earth in the local church.

strut with a swagger.

If you’re limping into 2025, maybe it means you’ve been wrestling with God and he’s got you just where he wants you.

Sometimes I think I’m too much of a contrarian, but then I think, “No, I’m not.”

In Lonely Exile Here Three kinds of exile in a world awaiting Christmas

Into this blank space called “exile,” Matthew tells us to overwrite the name of Jesus. Because Jesus ends the exile. Emmanuel ransoms captive Israel who mourns in lonely exile.

Needles on the Christmas Tree Have you ever wondered if your life matters? Does it make a difference? Does it count for anything?

In light of God, we’re irrelevant and insignificant.

Except that God makes us significant. God makes us matter, because he made matter. God instilled creation with value because he is the one who made it.

A very “American evangelical just home from Oxford” sermon this morning. Probably trying too hard, but at least I’m trying. 😆

When our son was six years old, we told him the true story of St. Nicholas—a pastor from a long time ago who helped people.

His takeaway: “So, he died?”

“Yes.”

Soon after, he sent this note to Santa: “Dear Santa, you are ded.”

Happy St. Nicholas Day!
