After a sleepover at Dad’s last night, Amber nearly exploded this morning as she was so pleased to see me!
She soon calmed down and normal service was resumed.
Fast forward to the other end of the day, and she is on sentry duty making sure my arm doesn’t escape.

Amber the Lurcher is cuddled up next to me with her head on my lap. Her eyes are slightly open, but she is not far off asleep; interesting as it’s 7:30 am….
Amber was still very clingy last night. This was the scene as I munched this morning’s coffee.
Over to Dad’s again today, and Amber will enjoy a sleepover there tonight. It’s unpleasantly quiet here - I am already missing having a dog next to me on the sofa!

Nursie and I headed out for a pub lunch with her friends. I was tired and a bit off colour afterwards, and since I set foot back in the house she has been glued to my leg.
She is now on guard duty, making sure that she sits as close as she can!
I suppose that the world’s longest machine screw is a better bodge than a handful of cable ties…..
There are worse ways to spend a weekend.

It features the rear axle and rear doors from an HY van.
It looks factory, and we’d love to find room for it in the shed here at Perkintowers.

Went swimming today. Pee’d in the deep end. Lifeguard saw it. Blew his whistle so loud I nearly fell in.
