It seems like you could propose an edit that adds zeitkapsl if you have a github account. From reading the criteria, it looks like the process is much easier for community submissions than developer self-submissions. So if you want to create a submission, it would be appreciated :)

That's where I started my journey, the Synology apps were unusable, was running Immich on it for a while, but didn't want to expose it to the internet (for shared albums etc). Stumbled upon zeitkapsl and their job openings right when I was also considering building something similar :D

atm, we are using solely pre-trained models.
Federated learning might be an option sometimes in the future, but we'd have to do a lot more research to be comfortable doing that (ensuring to leak absolutely no information from model updates, introducing bias, ...), and we are still a very small team
