I’m confused. Wasn’t the plan to make us great by closing our borders, increasing costs of goods, limiting work visa’s, firing our Federal Workforce, engaging in actions that prompt other nations to avoid buying from America, increasing costs of worse healthcare. Precursor to depression?
Cuts to Veteran Healthcare will result in poorer health outcomes for Veterans, more suicides of Veterans, more Veterans losing housing/marriages/stability and an adverse effect on recruiting. Veterans are by definition, Patriots and Hero’s for the USA. Supporting the VA is a solemn pledge.
I am tired of this game. What do we agree we want? I believe we want democracy, peace, good water, affordable healthcare, good schools, professional jobs and trades, homes, and the ability to live our lives without our neighbors trying to take our homes. I think we don’t want threats to life.

I would have thought that the legal profession would have united under the thought that if one is prevented from practicing law without legal basis, then it could happen to all if one’s client is considered on the “do not defend list.”
As a Veteran, I served with SLGBQ with heritage and culture that spanned the globe. Leadership remained professional. Military values dictated conduct. This diverse expertise permitted thinking outside the box. It made up formidable, lethal, and above all, ethical.
Politics, these days and maybe always has/will be a zero sum game where we win the wars and secure the ground that we won. The moment we stop understanding the enemy is the moment we lose our identity. When the opposition knows themselves and understands us is when they win.
Prices of everything is up, healthcare is up, job security is down, housing prices are up, security is down, stock market cratered, and the world is less safe.
Who is making money off this? Who has insider info? Do we have the FBI looking into this?
I say the proof is in the performance. So, food costs up, housing cost up, investments down, airplane accidents up, job losses up, watchdogs down. Who are you going to believe, your wallet. Looks a lot thinner.
What is Hegseth’s experience on the world’s stage? Did he complete ILE, CGSC , or the War College. Has he led an operational plan at the tactical or strategic levels. Has he been in Command at the Company, Battalion, Brigade, or higher level. Has he overseen contract.
We have always had those who wish power or want to retain power and pull up the ladder to those who would challenge their power. We call them by many names. Their aim is to have the middle-class/working poor revere the upper class and spend their time harming the poor.
The bigger question is 20 somethings will mess with it having little understanding how each piece interacts because the brain trust was fired and there will be no one to oversee the addition of the code. It most likely will be a loss in the billions.
