When Rutherford/Allvin got here and signed Kuz, Cole, Blueger, Suter, etc that one off season. That’s what I’ve been expecting. But the last couple years they’ve been doing nothing but trading away superstars. I really don’t get how they became so inefficient

It’s a weird a story arch for him tho. He played more last year when we were trying to make the playoffs than this year when we are out of it. All for another team that is just as bad. We also have a lot of players that could be getting more experience in Abby but they’re with the Canucks now 🤷♂️
It’s a fair point but I think it’s also a GM’s job to hunt down talent and find a way. If you don’t, I’m not sure how you could be considered a good GM.
While I’m at it, another thing that really confuses me. If Rutherford and Allvin knew Quinn would leave if we were going to suck, why did they do so little on the off season to make this team better?
