Gonna have weird games you just gotta find a way to win over the course of a season, and a noon tip after a 4 game West Coast trip on your way back to NY on Black Friday qualifies.

What's concerning is Mikal, the Knicks' headline acquisition, continuing to play like an NPC devoid of all confidence.

The NBA has relied on star power since the Stern era: Magic, Bird, MJ, Kobe, LeBron, etc. I think the shift began when they allowed their partners to de-emphasize the games & emphasize off the court stuff: free agency, the draft, trades, etc.
