Me, after finishing exactly one 5min task from my to do list: Ok fine, that was hard. Now I need to relax for 1h. Let's start by checking social media - the same thing I did right before tackling the 5min task.

Had a terrible work day, which resulted in me being an utterly unproductive mess since I finished work which I'm so going to regret tomorrow.
Well, at least they fixed our company name ...
Wondering if our IT department is bored bc wtf did they do to our email adress names?! It's not only impractical and unnecessary but also downright wrong how it displays our company name now.
I feel like I studied more Korean this past week than in the last 3.5 years since I started combined. Not that I feel like I make a lot of progress, it's mostly drilling vocab into my brain, but it's definitely something.
I'm home and I'd like to thank the spiders for keeping my kitchen moth infestation at bay. In other words: on first glance, everything's ok, just had to vacuum and get some fresh air in. And I already have the first load of laundry in the washing machine.
My only gripe is that there's a high pitched chime in FAKE LOVE that stands out a lot for me (at least with headphones) to the point that my brain latches onto it waiting for its next beat in horror. Considering this is one of my most favourite songs, I'm a bit sad ๐ฌ.
This is my happy place album now. It just makes me so happy listening to the Tannies not only slaying their songs live but also them just having so much fun performing ๐ฅบ. I was all teary bc I had to leave but this did put a smile on my face at the same time.
My plane scheduled for 12.25 got delayed by half an hour yesterday. I barely managed to download #permission_to_dance_onstage_live literally finishing on the runway 30 seconds before takeoff. I was so glad this album kept me company on my flight back from SK ๐ญ.
Started the day fighting with my hair and leaving way too late. Missed out on FESTA bc the queue was impossible. Was sad bc I was overlooked by the people distributing goodies.
And then I got OT7 - 7 as in incl. Yoongi - at Hobi's concert with Koo and Jin performing as well. Best night of my life.
I can't remember a thing because I was such an emotional mess, the whole concert feels like a fever dream. Best night of my life!
Same, really. It takes me about 1h to eat it all bc otherwise my stomach would revolt. Always tastes absolutely delicious though.
I think my fave so far was some juicy pork with carrots and Korean noodles with rice. The sauce was so good!
I just got home to a bowl of bingsu. Nommmm. I'm getting spoiled.
I'm staying in an Airbnb with a family of four, which in some ways wasn't my best idea, but breakfast is included so I get delicious Korean homecooked meals - except for someone who doesn't normally eat breakfast and happens to be a white potato, stomaching this is a lot xD (so good though!)
Alright, got my info and am now in a taxi to the hostel. Let's hope this works out again xD . I only said the address in Korean without showing anything, yikes xD
It's only been 15min but it's now past check in time and I still haven't heard back and this is freakimg me out. Just let me know how to check in pretty please!
Arrived on Jeju but now I'm stuck at the airport because I haven't received the checkin info for the hostel yet and it's self operating so I need it to get into the building and it's also raining so it would be stupid to make my way over there already without it.
Well, my bag is away (they didn't ask me to pay for overweight xD) and I made it to the gate. Now I only need to make it onto the plane. Boarding in less than 1h. Still so stressed out ... and so tired.
Made it to the airport by taxi, whew. I'm so early, I have to wait hours for baggage drop off and that's freaking me out bc my bag is too heavy and I have too much stuff in general and I'm not sure they'll let me on the plane like this. Argh, once again too much stress for my liking.
I've been stuck on this bus for forever. We're hardly moving. I thought I'd be there by 12.00 at the latest, now I'm not even sure I'll make it till 13.00.
Look at me, trying to make my way to Cheongnamdae. Was off to a really rough start with the bus not running how it was supposed to and now I just had to stand on the bus for an hour. Made it onto a shuttle bus, I hope this works out.
Another stuck in the middle of nowhere hoping a bus will show up situation. Why am I always doing this to meeeee. And here's not even an electric sign. I'm basically just hoping Naver is correct and it will come. It also was like 30min delayed on the way here, so really nothing to go on at all.
Ah, yes, nothing goes over happily working away from SK and then finding an email that one of your team has decided to quit and will only be here until the end of July. Fantastic. She's only been with us for a year. Back to square 1, I love it.
I should've taken the direct bus 15min later. So far, we've not even made any progress towards Cheongju. At this point I'm wondering if I'm on the right bus (I better be but I think the next stop is the Daejeon terminal and then I hope we're heading towards Cheongju).
Okay, that worked out. Unfortunately, the next bus is sold out so I'm on the one after that in 30min. I got a platform, so I hope this will work this time. Also had another row with the ticket machine. This time, only my Visa card worked.
I'm at the bus stop, the bus is supposed to be here in 8min and I'm the only one here. Am I even in the right place, just tell me please, this is stressing me out ๐ญ. I don't know how to get home yet, it's important I get on that bus.
I made it onto the second bus, still have no idea what happened to the first. I hope the rest of the day will be ok. I somehow have to make it back home as well and I guess that will prove difficult. But first, a nice hike, I hope! (First need to arrive, though, haha.)
Why is this happening?! It's not like tickets are expensive, so I didn't lose much money, but this is stressing me out! Where was my bus?! Didn't it come? Did it leave early?
I slept badly bc I thought I would oversleep, got up at 7, fought a ticket machine only available in Korean, accidentally almost got onto the wrong bus, and now the stupid right bus is not coming. Argh! I think I missed it. Just bought a ticket for the next one. I hate this so much.
Currently unsure if this was the right choice. The airbnb def does not pass my cleanliness standards. But I found a supermarket (unsure whether I will manage to cook in that kitchen though) and just dared to go into another restaurant. After dinner, I will make a plan for the 8 days I'll be here.
