My grandfather fought at Vimy Ridge. He was 18 years old. He lived in a trench. For us. For our freedom, which doesn't come without a cost. He did survive the battle but had significant hearing loss. He was artillery, and there was no hearing protection.

I was diagnosed at age 53. I'm still looking at things and having revelations.

Yesterday I was told "everyone is a little autistic". I asked them what they struggle with and they said they didn't like commuting to their job and that's basically autism. Not liking things.
