Aunque haya llovido mucho en la Peninsula en los ultimos meses, en la zona de Ourense, Leon y Zamora han vivido un año seco en respecto a los registros historicos
La gran nubosidad es un indicio de la posibilidad de piro-convección en los incendios, como ya ocurrió el lunes y martes en el incendio de Molezuelas de la Carballeda con las cimas de los Pyrocumulonimbus alcanzando -40ºC y -50ºC
Secuencia del satelite Meteosat el 13 de agosto de 2025 entre 11:00 de la mañana y 17:00 de la tarde hora local en España. Se aprecia la gran actividad de incendios en Portugal, Ourense, Zamora y en las últimas horas en Valencia.
El incendio de Molezuelas de la Carballeda en Zamora tiene una estimación de entre 30K y 35K hectáreas afectadas y está a punto de ser el incendio más grande conocido en España desde que hay registros.
