Hindsight tells me I should have kept my distance from the incident, but he’s a strong ass cat and I have no doubt he could pop my screen out if he really tried, so I had to do something to stop him from getting out and fighting that cat. He hurt me, but I don’t regret keeping him inside and safe.

He was a feral kitten found in a field, and we’ve raised so many feral cats in my life that I don’t fault them when they’re on the aggressive side, and Puck can be aggressive when he’s throwing a tantrum, but this was unlike anything I’d ever seen out of him; his reaction was a pure state of terror.
