Exactly why I’m mostly ready to leave LA but I’m currently anchored here by a job. I still love LA but it’s just way too financially impractical.

Is this new? I must see it.
Same.
It can be really exhausting. This line from a recent Benjamin Cremer post really hit me hard. This was the first time I saw what I was feeling for so long summed up in a simple sentence:
“It’s hard to name the kind of grief you experience when you are betrayed by those who taught you about God.”
…for example. They’ve dug in so deep in their hatred that I don’t think they’d change their mind if Jesus Himself returned and told them.
Problem being that evangelicals have manipulated & twisted things for so long that they believe they are doing God’s will by being as hateful a& discriminatory as possible to anyone they disagree with. They’re truly believe they’re doing Gods will by turning their backs on their LGBT family members
One of the all time great comedies imo.
When Doves Cry
Lets Go Crazy
Purple Rain
Little Red Corvette

I kind of want one now lol because I think I probably would’ve had some back in the day if I hadn’t been deeply closeted.
I have two of these I found at the flea market including the one I had as a kid: the canoe one.
How many did you buy?
Combat Rock is one of those that would be nice to have a clean backup copy of it I found it cheap. I’ve seen them go for $40 at some shops.
There’s crock pot ribs recipes that use Dr. Pepper.
You had a chance to buy Combat Rock for $1 and passed?
I’d eat it. I love Dr. Pepper.
I’m ashamed he was a Greensboro Hornet.
Yeah, that’s messed up. There’s no way there’s any extra effort on their part.
“Christ is King” is a big one these days.
Sadly, more times than not it seems, a cross in the bio means you’re going to mostly see rage posting of hateful bigotry.
It sounds nice….like it was gently played!
I saw the OMD and wondered if you would get it lol. I was slightly tempted by the Brian Wilson but passed.
The outer sleeve of Rubber Soul on vinyl sitting on top of a Technics SL-1200 MK2 record player inside a golden oak entertainment cabinet. A red headed Lego minifigure wearing sun glasses is standing in front of the album.
Rubber Soul - The Beatles
It’s not in Discogs but I believe it to be a 1978 reissue from Capitol’s Los Angeles pressing plant.
A Record Store Day purchase and my 3rd copy. None of the official Record Store Day releases really spoke to me.

I’ve always loved that song.
lol. I passed on it. I’m probably about to pick up my 3rd copy of Rubber Soul at another store, though.
The album cover of Night Rocker featuring David Hasselhoff in a sleeveless leather vest holding an electric guitar while standing on a black trans am similar to Kitt on Night Rider.
Just spotted at the record store: Night Rocker by David Hasselhoff!

Why even do this? Isn’t every single one of these flag jumps against flag code for allowing it to touch the ground?
Opportunity Knocks. A 1990 Dana Carvey rom com. It didn’t do well but I love it.
It’s wonderful. I have’t had one in forever. I’m not sure how far outside of North Carolina it can be found.
I haven’t had Sun Drop in decades. I wonder if they have Cheerwine.
My #LastFourWatched for #LetterboxdFriday
New for this week:
Angels & Demons - I’m diggin’ the Dan Brown movies.
Eurotrip - first rewatched in a very long time. I mostly wanted to watch for the Vatican scene after watching A&D. I still love the Matt Damon cameo for Scotty Doesn’t Know.
