A bright yellow kiosk stands in stark contrast to the background.
A vintage photo showing two people at a beach kiosk
One of my favorite Yugoslav designs is the K67 modular kiosk. Injection molded modular plastic building often used for newspaper vendors, coffee shops and info kiosks. Could be linked together like legos. www.archpaper.com/2023/01/univ...

Kid's drawing of his own megalomaniac
Loved it - and my non-drawing kid has already designed multiple megalomaniacs. Cristalis will turn things into crystals and then humans will be spellbound by them.
WHY ISN'T ANYONE TALKING ABOUT THE REAL NEWS STORIES!!!

Madge and Harold from Neighbours, with the text: Just letting you know, if you were born before 1982, you are now older than Madge Bishop when she joined Neighbours... Have a great day!
Today I learned, as I curled into a rotted husk.
She was 43. Harold was 47.

A picture of a library shelf with a small rolled up note on it. The note says “read this” in child’s handwriting.
A picture of the note unrolled. In the same child’s handwriting it reads “beware of the future!!”
Still thinking about this note I found in the children’s section of the public library when I worked there back in 2018. This kid tried to warn us…
Richmond Bridge
Is it, though?
A picture of a black and white cat named Kiki with a face that appears twisted by malice. The shadow of the photographer approaches, menacingly.
Accidentally created a masterpiece of German Expressionism.
Just saw a gold ring hallmarked in 1996 described as "a vintage piece" and so now if you'll excuse me I need to walk into the sea
bridget (@wholemilkbitch) on twitter: "i know i didn't text back despite "being on my phone for seven hours straight" but you have to understand i was on the escapism phone. the responding to texts phone is different."
I'm in my early 60s, I had a 2nd hand Atari 2600 as a teen, and have been playing computer games my entire adult life. Every time I see some variation on “it’s not just teenage boys in their bedrooms anymore!”, a headline I first saw circa 1983, I sigh a little longer. My sighs now last 96 hours.
