The language snob in me will never get over the ignorant ahistoricity of “gender is biological.” Gender is GRAMMAR. gender is a type of noun category. It shares an etymology with ‘genre,’ and they’re still the same word in some European languages. This isn't even about transness, you're just wrong.

In other words, given how many people there are and how many experiences we all have, insane coincidences will happen all the time.

sooooo just found out about Miragaia – a stegosaur with just barely long enough of a neck to creep me out a little. Like, it’s nothing totally crazy, just… dinosaur uncanny valley. Anyone else? Or just me?
