I still feel the same regardless, I assumed AI cause of the recent wave of its usage, but morphs have been an issue for years as well like the good ol uncanny valley smile and eyes on top of avatars.

Special extra 4/3 it fucking sucks that people are using this software when theres a huge community of skilled photographers on sl who will do you a full set of photos with custom poses at more than fair prices.

My specific criticism here was about LL not requesting an actual photo of the creators avatar in second life instead of an AI image that doesn't represent SL in a accurate way. Especially when this goes out on public platforms where it can be someone's first exposure to SL and they are oversold.

Using it as your profile picture is somewhat fine as it's just how you represent yourself but many creators have started using it to make their products look better essentially preying on people who don't know better. 2/3
