I think an American flag created entirely by black men at the Superbowl is one of the best pieces of art I've seen in my lifetime. I hope it actually killed some folks. And I hope it finally closes the fucking book on the argument that we shouldn't use the flag to fight the God damned fascists.

I am going to say this once: based on what we know now, there’s no “one weird trick” that would have won the presidency. There just isn’t. This was a massive shift and massive shifts have many fathers.

trump is the ultimate blank slate. he is so incoherent that voters will project anything and everything onto him. meanwhile, he is the vehicle for the most radical group of reactionaries this country has produced since the fire eaters

People know who she was running against. They know exactly who he is. Most people, it turns out, just prefer him. That is what they like.
