I’ve already heard from so many other women who feel the same way, it’s refreshing to see Im not alone but funny that we don’t talk about this side of having a baby in your 40s more often @TheCut

Is It Perimenopause or Postpartum? When I had my third baby at 41, I was confident I could get through what came next. Now, I’m afraid I’ll never feel “normal” or like myself again.

Thoughtful, validating piece by @amil.bsky.social on an experience that doesn't get talked about enough. www.thecut.com/article/how-...

Insomnia, irritation, brain fog & anxiety: is it postpartum, perimenopause or some cursed combination of both? Just some stuff I’ve been obsessing over since having a baby at 41 — for @TheCut I get into some of truth behind having a baby after 40

the milestones evolve as your kids get older, tonight it was my 7 yr old voluntarily clearing the dinner plates and then scooping and bringing out ice cream for the whole family for dessert! if you’re in the trenches w a little one, there is some amazing light at the end of the baby tunnel

The original Vanderpump Rules cast outgrew its reality show drama, and I did too Who wanted to watch a bunch of servers fighting with each other at over-the-top birthday parties they’re too old to be throwing for themselves? I did.

I wish I could say I was shocked by the announcement that the original Vanderpump Rules cast were being turfed, but after breakups, marriages, divorces and babies (there’s and mine) it feels like time to move on

watched the new ben stiller movie nutcrackers last night, very tender family movie but my 4 yr old was flummoxed by so much rule-breaking by the boys in the film. at one point the farm dog gets let out of the house alone and she made me pause and said, “is there a gate?”

Finding Hope in Hopelessness When I look down at my daughter’s hand reaching for mine, I know it’s what is propelling me forward. It has to.

It’s been a rough November, I’ve been finding it hard to be motivated, excited, to find hope in what’s next. I explored that idea and where I am finding fragments of joy in my Nov column @thecut.com www.thecut.com/article/finding-hope-aft...
