Best performance in a number of months on Saturday night.
Physical, tactically coherent and efficient when it counted. Probably the first time since the game in Croke Park that we've looked like the sum of our parts or more.

I was referring to both the correctness of your reference and to the sentiment within.
On that, I feel, you are correct.
By the same token, should the same thing not currently apply to the Chiefs?
That's completely fine, but as a journalist working on the platform that I have, innocent until proven guilty is what I have to go on in public utterances because to say otherwise, as far as it would concern my legal exposure, would be defamation. I hope you understand that.
I mean that "honestly held belief" when you have a platform isn't enough. At a certain point, that honestly held belief has to rely on facts, especially if pressed on them in court.
There are no facts to rely on here, and a newspaper article isn't fact. At least on the advice I was given anyway.
Quite a few have.
I've received the guts of 120+ messages/emails on it. Around 20% were negative, approximately. So far. That might change, of course.
When you have a large platform, you have a duty to use words responsibly, and I will continue to do so. You'll see the same with other large platforms in how they report on it.
You can roll the dice on that if you want.
I will not.
First of all — it isn't. I sought specific legal advice on this before commenting, and I'm not sure where you heard that an honestly held belief is a defence, but it isn't.
They are all ultimately paid for by the IRFU, and in this case, it is incredibly unlikely that the IRFU did not approve it.
One thing that should be made clear, though — and you'll see this with anyone who has any kind of national profile in the media — is that there are no facts on which to accuse Roger Randle of anything, or to say he should be denied opportunities off the back of. To do so would be defamatory.
If you go with optics, you probably wouldn't hire him, because of what people may assume based on the article in question, rightly or wrongly. That's the world we live in.
In that context, there's no wrong opinion, and no one can tell you what opinion you should have.
Taken time to think since Wednesday. The hiring of Randle comes down to two things — facts vs optics.
If you go with facts, there's no reason not to hire him. No trial, no proven allegations, no cross-examined evidence and innocence completely maintained over 30 years.
There's a very specific kind of YouTube kidslop made exclusively by eastern Europeans in heavily accented English while living in Dubai.
Its like a nightmare mix of two hour long Eurovision skit mixed with watching the news on holiday.

Toilet training a toddler is a nightmare but it's always good to brush up on the basics yourself while you're at it
Casey is covering #10! Yeah, chiefs are good. Been watching them a fair bit this season.

Very interesting looking team for the Challenge Cup knockouts against Exeter.
The South African tour took a bit of a toll — as it always does — but it's a strong-looking selection.

If you post fake news on your site as an April Fools gag I think you should go the whole hog and just delete the entire site off your hosting package.
It doesn't make any sense not to get the 4 in 1 really, when you think about it
SUPER DELUXE WALLY RATINGS :: Bulls 34 Munster 31
These two points will be valuable for the end of the season, regardless of the loss. One thing is clear, though: Crowley and Casey are the key difference makers for this team.

A much, much better performance from Munster overall. Disappointing to lose it — unforced errors the big issue there — but Crowley and Casey drove so much of what we did well.
Two points, a bit of pride back in the jersey at altitude, and a platform to work with.

Munster have named their team for this weekend's massive game against the Bulls
Tighthead is an absolute nightmare at the moment. Ryan and Ala'alatoa at the end of their careers and showing it. Halfback performance was maddening.
Our attacking structure/concept/system is diabolical. We have no belief in it, and it shows.
A diabolical performance from start to finish.
Minus five stars.
Really grateful to Jacques Nienaber for deciding to stop destroying Irish rugby after the loss to France and bad performance against Italy. Nice of him to do that.
Mike Haley and Ethan Coughlan are the cover at #10 as per Clayton McMillan earlier
