Barreleye fish, framed and ready to leave. Awkwardly photographed to avoid the light reflecting off the glass front 😬

Another Barreleye Fish (Micropinna Microstoma). Custom NFS. Super cuties!! I gave him glowy eyes this time. He's going all the way across the big pond to the US, very soon.

A little galaxy shrimp fella I made a few years back. I'm working on a pistol shrimp atm. Messed up its legs so will finish it tomorrow. I've lost patience with it today 🙂.

Check out my fish finger. Giant Oarfish before I sent it to its permanent home in the frame. Its really difficult to photograph the shades of green, purple and pink it has shimmering down the body. I tried! Can't decide if I should make a shrimp for the next one..

The Giant Oarfish (Regalecus Glesne). Although this one is around 2 inches long (: fun little sculpt. Has been on the "to craft" list for many years. Ever since catching one on Animal Crossing tbh.

Today I finished my Atlantic Silver Hatchetfish (Argyropelecus Aculeatus). Its not exactly a miniature, I don't think. They get up to around 70mm so this may be more an actual size. They look stupid AF head on. Plz Google it 🤭

Fanfin Anglerfish (Caulophryne Jordani). She's very much in the works still, with lots to do alter. Tedious, but she's worth it.

Playing with lights trying to figure where to place them. Need to find a few more deep sea dwellers to make that aren't too dauntong. This was a little bit more challenging than some, but still not impossible. The worst part was finding good enough reference images.

The Loose Jaw Dragonfish (Photostomias Guernei). At least I hope it is. Reference image searching got confusing. A mix of actual images and diagrams. I did my best. He's beautiful and he will attract his Valentine + dinner tomorrow with his red bioluminescence ♥️

Smaller than I thought too! Before I read up on them, I assumed they would be around 12 inches or so

That'd be freaky

Oh my gosh 😭 that'd be super cute! Thank you x

No, the other way around. Real are bigger. I just like making fish in small scale

These are Micropinna Microstoma and on wiki it says the max known length is 15cm. Assuming the photos of these I used as reference are of it in adult stage, this would be ~4 times smaller than IRL (:
