PREDICTION: I'm going to go out on a limb and say Rivian will eventually offer a <$45,000 variant of R2. Over time, Rivian will continue to optimize costs - scale, manufacturing efficiencies, parts consolidation, etc - and also has options to de-content the vehicle further.
