Reopening the visionary centre created by Raymond Moriyama, reimagined and renewed for continued public enjoyment is a priority for Save OSC.

Paul Kortenaar, CEO of the Ontario Science Centre, highlighted the centre’s future potential, stating, “Our future home will bring science to life in an inclusive and playful way, where visitors, including teachers and students, can experience the wonder of science.”
John Carmichael reports to the Ontario govt as chair of the OSC board.
He is not independent.
He is accountable to Doug Ford.
He also received the King Charles III Coronation Medal in 2025, after he closed the #ontariosciencecentre

As our eastbound train pulled into “Don Valley Station,” we heard a young family, and separately an older couple, disparage Premier Ford for closing the OSC and for renaming the station.
