if i were to redo glimmer today i would do two things

-flint would have redder hair and have solid lines around his ears, hairline, and beard because coloring that shit in by hand is sooooo tiring.

-i would use komika font instead of patrick hand. why, self, why

when i started drawing digitally, in 1999, i saw my first cintiq in B&H on a school trip. $2500. absolutely unaffordable. in 2019 i finally was able to afford a cheaper huion screen tablet. i am stubborn as fuck and am not going back to the other kind of tablet, if i can manage a workaround.

I've been thinking about this post, so i doodled this really quick to show how i personally solved the 'screen tablet gives me horrible neck pain and posture' issue, via a standing desk, lifted monitor, and using anything/everything i could to makeshift an ergonomic workspace for it.
