Dandelions (an almost poem)

Eternity, but like grief. Like the closed casket wake of time still turning, like the compass turned east—the setting Sun. Like love frozen in a frame, like kissing a nameless man without a purpose.

Forever, how to put it—like sails on a ship turned outward, bracingly, flushed like downward petals—wind against leaves against waves. Forever, but like tides. In and out and in again. The pull at my navel. The sinking.

It is feminist, features both queer and POC, and is not spicy. (Not a spice hater, just cannot write spice LMAO)

The book centers on her spiritual awakening, the power of feminine resilience, and the psychological aftermath of violence.

Political and divine deception are at the core of the novel, as well as her experiences in rediscovering her power after encountering trauma and grief.

Please follow if you’d like to read a book about a priestess who leaves the sanctuary of the abbey she was raised in and is forced into a reality of Gods and politics that differs starkly from what she’d be taught.

Draft one of book is officially complete at 85,000 words. Grateful for the experience, would 100% have written it differently if I was doing it again but it is ready for editing!

If I never finish writing my book I can avoid editing it forever, right? RIGHT??!!?
