|⚔️| Since we're sharing thoughts on Bsky RP or just RP in general, I might as well toss my hat into the ring.
|⚔️| Muse might wax and wane, but the interest is still there! Sometimes, it just gets discouraging when people in an already miniscule verse tend to be hyper-selective. I'm not saying >>>

(I know I'm not super active on Saria, but I agree with Ghirahim-mun. Time's a loose concept in the Zelda verse anyway, let Midna interact with BotW Zelda, we have a literal game that gives us the method to do exactly that.
The only thing stopping interaction between eras is your imagination.)

"I...I really hope you're right."
Zelda likely was, after all she did say she was a royal. Who else knew more about the Sword of Evil's Bane than the royal family? It still didn't dissuade Saria's concerns of not being worthy.
"All of the heroes I've heard about were named Link."
want me to be the Hero, or if it was just some colossal mistake."
That smile fades a bit more.
"Or...if I'm just the delivery girl to give the real hero his weapon."
Not by choice, but she would concede that fact. Saria nods to Zelda, her normal smile fading a bit.
"I think so. I was able to pull the Master Sword from its pedestal, but the other Heroes from other times all have that strange mark on their hand. I don't...so I don't know if the Goddesses

she'd learned that royalty didn't always mean the person was good, just that they'd been put into a place of authority. Ganondorf was an evil royal, her friend Zelda was a good royal...if she was still alive anyway.
"So does that make you royalty too?"
She's rather curious now. While Saria knew that not all golden haired people were royals, the only royals she knew were Zelda and Ganondorf.
"It's not really important I guess. It's more just for curiosity's sake," she states, nodding to Zelda. After all

the name of her friend from seven years prior.
"You know, my friend that lived at Hyrule Castle has the same first name as you. She said that all the girls born to the royal family were named Zelda."
Saria moves the legendary glowing blade to its sheath. Keeping her attention on the other, smiling brightly. She'd definitely heed this Zelda's advice.
"My name's Saria. I don't have a middle or last name, I'm just a girl from the forest. Nice to meet you!"
It did occur to her that Zelda was
"Well that's a coincidence. My name's Saria, and I'm from the forest too. I'm not Kokiri though..."
"Um...well Ganondorf's taken over my Hyrule. I'm still working on that...
...uh, look like who?"
"No way! If I threw it in a pit, then I'd lose it!"
(ngl, my post about the sword shining was a joke about the multitude of Ganons showing up. We definitely need more Dragmire in our life though!)
perhaps? She didn't recall seeing any there, so maybe something else. A scholar?
"So the sword is a living being too. I should be a lot more careful about how I swing it then! Thank you um..."
Her gaze shifts back to the blonde.
"Who are you again?"
"A spirit who's watching over me..."
Her gaze continued to rest on the sword as she processed that information. The blonde spoke with such conviction about the topic that Saria couldn't help but believe her. Speaking of things not even Zelda knew about...was she a priestess of the Temple of Time
"So there's at least one timeline that someone succeeds in bringing peace to Hyrule. That's reassuring to know it's not completely hopeless at least?"
"Speak with one...? You mean with me?"
She looks to the glistening blade in her hand. How would someone even speak to it, she wondered.
"This is going to sound pretty silly, but I didn't even know this sword had a spirit inside it..."
"Guys? Is it a good thing if the Master Sword just starts shining on its own? Because it is, and I don't think it's a good thing!"
